FEBURARY MONTH REFLECTION: This month was I think a challenging one but very doable. I'll give you a quick recap of the month to start: We started with a No Complaining week and 100 morning pushups as our bonus challenge. We moved into a Vegetarian week with 50 jumping lunges as a bonus. Our third week was talking to strangers, send an email to a stranger attached with a 100 pull up bonus. Lastly, was mediation with no bonus challenge. Overall great month. I did some things that were certainly out of my comfort zone and opened up some new points of view and mental appreciation. I know I give a recap after each week but I just want to reiterate on the "No Complaining" week. What a great little thing that we can do which totally changes our outlook on life just by the words that come out of our mouth. Certainly not just for us, but for the people around you. If you are just giving out negative vibes all the time, what good does that do to other people? Probably no good. I really have to tried to keep this in my mind throughout the week. Vegetarian.. As you probably know, I didn’t like that one very much. What that week did do for me however was concentrate on what food enters our bodies on a daily basis and how we see meat compared to animals. So this week might have been a struggle for me because I love meat and fish, but it was eye opening and couldn't have been more positive. I'm not a shy person, but I'm not overly aggressive either when it comes to talking to random people. Shit even people I know and have befriended, I struggle to bring up conversation topics other than stupid banter. So I believe this was a good mental-block breaker as well to get you out of your comfort zone. If any of you are located in a rural area or small town where you know most of the people, I apologize, I'm sure it was difficult for you to get 100% success. I hope you tried though. Mediation was another mental breakthrough for me as well. One thing I didn't try during my meditation practice was sitting with my leg straight against the wall with my back on the ground. I love that position because we're always on our feet and it’s a great way to get a well deserved energy boost. And I completely forgot to try to meditate while in that pose. In addition to the bonus challenges this month, it was a more mental challenging month. I hope you enjoyed it. Are these some challenges that you will take with you into March?
