In the first real month of Fall, we experienced some old yet great challenges! We started the month bringing it back to the basics by incorporating fundamental movements to begin our workouts. We then shifted gears and learned a song on an instrument getting in touch with our creative side. The third week transitioned to cutting filler and unnecessary words from our vocabulary. The fourth week we stood our ground in the kitchen to cook up a new meal and slightly exit our comfort zone when filling the fridge. And last but never least, we took it to the mature subject of sex; learning things that we have yet to learn, want to learn, or want to improve our knowledge on. A full packed month full of knowledge and exploration. We really did hit multiple spectrums in October and that’s fantastic. I felt great. I have incorporated fundamental movements before of a majority of my workouts, I enjoyed playing the piano and getting my humility in check. I felt intelligence as I slowly articulated each specific word for the exact purpose of explaining exactly what I wanted to say. All of these challenges have brought skills into my toolbox to learn from and grow with. Additionally, this is my birthday month (30 Oct) and I'm exciting to construct the yearly challenge. Scared, but excited. Currently, I have no idea what it is going to be, but whatever I decide, I'm going to put all my effort in accomplishing it. (I couldn't exactly do it on my birthday, I was in New York, but this will be the first weekend after.) As always, I am stoked to see what next month holds and ready for a new group of challenges to test us mentally, physically, technically, and spiritually. Thanks Everyone!
