Take a cold shower. This idea has been around for a while and people love cold showers when you get over the fear for the first few. Once you get into your grove, you feel better when you get out, you are completely awake after shocking your nervous system and are ready to go for the day. The benefits include a boost to your immune system, natural cold healing, alertness, and much much more. So this is this weeks challenge. It doesn't matter if it's 30 seconds or 5 mins, just jump into that icy water and breath. You have to have at least one cold shower a day. If you are a two shower a day person and want to get your dose of the hot water, that’s fine.. Just do me a favor and end it on a cold note. But!! No matter what, one shower has to be completely cold! So no cheating!!! Post your comments below and tell me how it went, and of course, I will information you of my challenges I incurred throughout the week. Have Fun!

I ended up doing cold showers for the entire month of January. And for 3 out of the 4 weeks, I was in the arctic circle.
REFLECTION: I loved the cold shower challenge. The positives I took from it immediately, I actually looked forward to taking a shower everyday. Its counterintuitive of what you might think but the results were quite the contrary. I loved it. Its like I was challenging my body to do something different and get stronger. Some of the things I didn't necessarily pick up are the boost in energy. I didn't feel super energized afterwards (I usually took my showers at night). I did stay up till around midnight every night without fail but no over zealous energy boost. I actually am going to continue to complete the cold shower challenge to hit Wim Hof's 20 day challenge. Once that one is complete, we will see what I plan to do after. In conclusion, I loved this challenge and think everyone should mix up their daily routine with it. It's something simple that you can do at the turn of the handle. I hope everyone enjoyed this one! Let me know what your personal experiences were!
