Repeat your favorite! This week is half way through our weekly challenges, Week 26! We have accomplished some incredible challenges throughout the year and now is your time to pick whatever challenge you would like to repeat. You could choose to be hard on yourself and do your most hated challenge. You could complete a challenge you missed. Or you can repeat a challenge you loved and would like to improve even more on! The options are limitless. So it's completely up to you. I however, am going to repeat two challenges this week. I am going to take a cold shower every single day (at least one) and I am not going to complain all week long. I think it will be a perfect combo. A few take away's from what I learned from these challenges last time. For my cold showers, you tend to not think about the cold after 3 mins, at least for me. So I plan to make my cold showers at least 4 minutes to try and numb my body and get the full benefits of cold therapy. Thanks Wim Hof. And secondly, for my no complaining challenge, I want to come in with a positive attitude and specifically focus on not being positively negative. If you remember my reflection from this challenge earlier in the year (week 6) I would have an overwhelming positive attitude but clearly be complaining about my next work out, or to-do list, etc. So I would like to fix that and just say yes to everything and be a trooper. I'm excited for the week! Please let me know what you guys decide to do! And have a blast!

REFLECTION: What an awesome week with two of my favorite challenges! Cold showers are amazing and I highly recommend them. 30 seconds or 4 mins, they aren't negatives to a cold shower. Plus no complaining? It's the perfect combo. I'll tell you what. If you live your life without complaints, you're going to move forward much faster than your peers. You don't waste time about things that don't matter and focus on what's important. Its really a win-win. That type of positive mentality to attack life with can lead you places you have only dreamt of. Open those floods gate and continue to move forward. It was truly an awesome week. I was able to accomplish work goals, personal goals, solid out of the box work out routines which involved paddles, swims, ultimate frisbee, water polo and am going to finish it off with a 4th of July 17 mile paddle with my buddy Temple for my Monthly Challenge. I really felt motivated and kept busy to not let my mind wonder in to places it shouldn't. The cold showers woke me up, kept the body fresh in the humid summer heat of Virginia and brightened up my day. I hope you all had similar experiences this week and share them below!
