Your mother always bugged you, day in and day out as a kid to always floss your teeth before bed. Well, she was right. Flossing is not only good for your teeth and gums but for overall health. So we're going to listen to momma, and floss our teeth every day this week. I like flossing at night, but choose your time of day. I have been an on and off flosser my whole life, sometimes getting into a routine and sometimes totally failing for months. It’s a constant struggle. But your teeth 'should' be here to stay so lets take care of them and your body. A smile goes a long way. This simple task shouldn’t take more than 2 minutes a day, so as long as you don't forget, you'll crush this week. It might hurt. You might bleed. But that blood and pain leads to success. So get to the store, buy some floss if it's not in the medicine cabinet and get to fighting back!

REFLECTION: I know this week was (hopefully) an easy one, but a successful one none the less. Flossing your teeth, once it's a habit, will, I think, change your life. One gap at a time. It's quick, its cheap, its easy, and its awesome for you. So no matter how much time you don't think you have, or how lazy you are at the end of the night, spend the extra 2 minutes and take care of yourself. Make it a habit. I believe statistically, if you do something for 66 days straight, it will more than likely become a habit. So there you go. If you can floss for two months out of your entire life, more than likely you can floss for your entire life… Does that makes sense? Maybe. DO IT. This was a good challenge for those who have been slacking, or unable to do some based on time restraints, so I hope you found it positive and successful. Commit with floss types, tools, or other benefits about a clean mouth!
